Written estimates within 1 business day — clear scope, itemized pricing, no pressure and no obligation.
Getting a drywall estimate shouldn't take a week. At Wall Doctor TX, we turn around written estimates within 1 business day of reviewing your project — by phone, by photos, or in person for larger jobs. Our estimates are itemized and specific: you'll know exactly what work is included, what the materials are, and what you're paying for. No vague "starting at" quotes.
We estimate drywall installation (new construction and remodels), drywall repair (small patches to whole-room work), finishing (Level 3 through Level 5), texturing, plastering, and popcorn ceiling removal. We also scope full projects for GCs, property managers, and investors who need pricing across multiple trades or properties.
For general contractors and remodelers, we offer fast-turnaround bid packages that include material quantities, labor breakdown, and timeline estimates — formatted for your project budget or bid submission. If you're working on a permit-required project, we can coordinate the drywall scope with the permit requirements. See our Project Coordination service for larger build-outs.
Written estimate in your inbox within 1 business day — not a week from now.
You'll see exactly what's included and what it costs — no surprise add-ons after you've said yes.
A free estimate is exactly that — free. No pressure, no follow-up calls if you're not ready.
For contractors: we'll format estimates for your bid docs and include takeoffs on request.
Serving homeowners, general contractors, and property managers across Texas.
Yes. No cost, no obligation. We provide a written estimate at no charge. If you decide not to move forward, or to get competing bids, that's completely fine. We'd rather earn the work with a competitive estimate than pressure you into a commitment.
For smaller repair jobs, we can often estimate from photos and a description of the work. For larger installations, finishing projects, or anything involving multiple rooms or full-project coordination, an in-person or video walkthrough gives us a more accurate number. We'll let you know when photos are sufficient and when we need to see it in person.
Our estimates are itemized by scope: what work is being done, what materials are included, what the labor covers, and the total cost. We'll note any exclusions (like painting, which is typically out of scope for a drywall contractor). For GCs and property managers, we can format estimates to match your bid templates and include material quantities and takeoffs.
For repairs: photos of the damage, approximate size of the affected area, and any context about what caused the damage (water leak, impact, etc.). For installations: square footage or room dimensions, ceiling height, finish level desired, and whether framing is already complete. For finishing: the current condition of the drywall, desired finish level, and whether texture is included. The more detail you provide, the more precise the estimate will be.
Yes. We provide written estimates that can be submitted to insurance companies for drywall damage from water, fire, impact, or other covered events. Our estimates detail the scope of work, materials, and cost — formatted to meet typical insurance adjuster requirements. If your insurer requires a specific format or line items, let us know and we'll accommodate.
